So I've decided to change the color of my body frame.
What would look the best and last longer? What would be the most cost effective?
1. Take it to an auto body shop to get it painted
2. Get a decal / wrap
3. Buy the panels in the color I want

DIY with those small aerosol cans of automotive colormatch paint. They provide a better finish then regular spray paint, and the colors look professional (not rattle canned). 2 coats color and 3. Coats clear should give a nice factory looking paint job. Next and slightly more expensive is go to a automotive paint supply shop and have tbem mix up a few aerosol cans of paint in any color you choose and tell them its to be used on plastic bumpers and request that add plasticisors yo the mix (keeps the paint from craking/becoming brittle). Again its a DIY job. Lastly and slightly more expensive then the previous option it a full viynl wrap. Remove all the body panels you want covered first. It will make their job easier which saves them tim, saves you money and creates a better end result.

On that wicked little setup of yours: hello Kitty sicker bomb. Turns heads, wont attract the cops, nobody will believe it can go fast and you can make people go when you pull wheelies.

So I decided to go with Sherwin... he sold me:
2x Matte clear coat 1x white Primer 3x pints of matte white paint
All this for $90
what do you think? I checked buying white panels and getting an auto shop to do it... DIY is the cheapest I think and this way I get a custom color that I really want.

So the basic paint job is all done a week ago, now I just want to add some red accent to the white.
What's best to do this?
1. Cut decals on my own
2. Use painter's tape and spray red. (I'm afraid to peel the white off when I take the tape off)
3. painting brush (most likely it'll look spotty and uneven -_- )

Just get some red pin stripe tape from an auto store. No paint involved.

Just get some red pin stripe tape from an auto store. No paint involved. Wouldn't that peel over time due to sun damage?

Probably. But It'd be a pretty long time before that happened. You should keep your bike covered anyways. Tarps are cheap.
