My dipstick is reading no oil at all. I have no money until I get paid tomorrow but I have to drive my scoot to work in the morning. I found a small bottle of 2 cycle oil. Can I add a little of this to it just to make it for a 15 mile trip to work or should I not

Do you have a neighbor that might have some oil to spare?

You can use vegetable oil- DISCLAIMER: I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURES!! lol. I have seen many youtube vids where they use veggie oil in place of motor oil for many many miles...

I'm guessing it would be ok there should be a little regular oil in there. Add a little 2stk oil I wouldn't feel it but about half way on the dipstick

I rent a basement apartment from this lady and she has a 15 year old son. So I just drained some oil out of his dirtbikes.. Serves home right. If he would just asked me for a cigarette I would maybe said yea lol

supposedly two stroke oil is better and more pure. It has to have less carbon/ash because it gets burnt with the gas. The down side is it doesn't have the additives that regular motor oil has to help with lubrication and cut down on gumming up. You would also have to pay close attention to the viscosity of the two oils.
Would it work in an emergency, yep. So will castor oil or vegetable oil. Would I want to do it long term, probably not. If you had no other choice you could do it, then change the oil as soon as possible. Then drive it for a while and change the oil again because you can never get all the oil out, it will end up mixing to some extent.
Or you could flush your engine with kerosene. Not sure how hard that would be on a scooter though. But on a car its not hard. Just start the car and dump kerosene over the valves. After you get it all flushed out put regular motor oil in it.
