Don't know what has happened. This might be a long story but... here it goes. About three months ago I put a LED tail light bulb (red led) in my F-ACT and it worked great. Way brighter than the regular bulb. It was so cool I decided to get some for my rear turn signals. (amber led) When I put those LED's in they worked but, made them blink twice as fast as normal. I was like... I can deal with that. Those bulbs were like $11 buck apiece too. So that was $33 plus tax for the two ambers and a red. Picked em up at PepBoys. Then I got two amber LED wedge bulbs for the two little lights in the headlight assembly. Just plug and play shit. Here are some pics for reference. Everything was ok. Then I decided that the two ambers in with the headlights weren't bright ehough so, I got another set. Some way brighter ones. Here is a pic of those. These were (keyword WERE) 5x brighter than the others. Had them in for a couple days and one burned out. (thought LED's were supposed to last a long ass time) So I took them back and exchanged them for another set. I put the new ones in and they worked good for a couple weeks and then one burned out. Then the other one burned out the next week. I couldn't find the receipt for them to get my 12 bucks back so I lost on those. I have no idea why they went out so quick. So I put the smaller, dimmer ones back in and they have worked fine ever since then. They still work. So then I thought it would be a good idea to get two more amber LED bulbs for the front turn signals. As soon as I got them put in I tried to test them out... ... nothin. Turn signals didn't work at all, front or rear, left or right. So I put the stock bulbs back in the front. (still have the LED's in the rear) Now the right turn signal works front and back, just blinks fast like before. But when I put the left turn signal on it doesn't work, but flashes the dash panel. That's weird. :stumped: Then I tried it again (the left signal) same, then after a couple seconds the main fuse blew. :stumped: Oh. Forgot to mention that my remote start and alarm wasn't working either. Took off the seat and looked around and found the fuse was blown. Replaced it and the alarm and remote start worked fine again. I opened up the dash and removed the flasher relay because I did some checking around about the LED turn signals and such and found out that you need a LED capable flasher relay for them to work properly. I thought maybe that's what was blowing fuses (the stock flasher relay). I blew two fuses in a row the other day trying to show my buddy Alex what was wrong with my scoot. (he's the one that worked at the scoot shop here in Lafayette) Every time I put on the left signal it flashed the dash light and fucked with the tachometer (the rpm's started going up and down on the dial not the engine itself) (it has a digital gauge cluster) I decided to go get the SCOOT TAG pics today and had no problems. I took out the flasher relay so I have no turn signals right now. (didn't want to blow another fuse) I used the remote start a couple times today without fail. Then I stopped by my Dad's house to pick up my Xbox360. (let him borrow it cause it won't read discs but it still works, got a bunch of arcade games on the HDD, I got Sacred 2 on the HDD and he's been playing the shit out of that game, he loves it!) But anyway... went to pick up the Xbox so I can send it in to get repaired, and while I was there I decided to use the remote start to warm my baby up for a minute before I left. I was looking out the window when I pushed the button and the lights flashed like normal when you use the remote, but didn't hear my baby purrin. So I opened the window to make sure and sure enough she wasn't running. So I pushed the remote start again and... nothing. WTF. So when I left I put the key in and turned it... no dash coming on... damn blew ANOTHER fuse. (the main one in the battery box) So I put my last fuse in and turned the key and presto magico... she comes back to life. Rode home and took her inside. Was talking to Alex and tried to use the remote start again and BAM, there wnt my last fuse. DON'T KNOW WTF IS WRONG WITH HER. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME. May be I could make a little YouTube video if you want to show better whats going on.
