This is why I do not get lonely. I have been divorced 21 years and...I do not have to ask any one anything before I do it. (Freedom) If I need/want a part for my scooter, and I can afford it....guess what happens? I have a cat living with me so when I talk to myself, I am not crazy, I am just talking to him, ha ha.

Shes not as bad as I say I do have freedom however I have a family. She does give me googly eyes when I talk about scooters she thinks I'm silly and I would have to agree. The best part about her is she lets me follow my dreams.

Seat frame is finally finished I think it looks like poop. I hate welding no I do not want any tips I'm not a welder.... Anyhow it's mounted seat is hinged it latches however it sits about three inches higher and the engine cover does not fit anymore, thinking of fabbing something up but don't know what yet possibily perforated sheet metal idk.... Having issues with top speed doesn't want to get over 40 was doing 51 possibly too many burnouts on the grass and my belt is shot.

Here it is m.youtube.com/watch?v=oXH5IwZj3HQ there is no bottom as of yet in decided I like having access. You can read my book I wrote on YouTube about my build. Definitely a good experience probably will do it again but better. So far I've driven all over town with and its held up fine. Yesterday I put a cynderblock on it and stood on it held up fine. Seat needed to be shaved down to fit. Sits about 3" higher.

I think it looks kinda cool, if nothing else because it's custom and different than anything I've seen. At least it'll let plenty of air through to the engine. As you've said yourself, thicker steel prob would be a good idea... but if it's working for you then hopefully it's thick enough that it will hold up.

Hey, it works and I think the idea is brilliant. You could always wrap it with some sort of material to get your storage back even though, it will store larger items just the way it is.
Did it add much weight compared to the junk plastic bucket? I would think it would be very close in weight but stronger.
Nice job.
