Hi, I don't know what the hell is going on with this thing.. I started it up today and saw that something was leaking from the carb - had a smell and realised that it was petrol leaking from there. It only happens when the engine is running - when I turn it off it drips for like 10 seconds but then stops. Here's a video: sendvid.com/ypn7faivPlease help! The carb was cleaned 5 days ago...

The petcock is probably vacuum operated. It will only leak with the engine running as long as it has vacuum. Check your hoses and clamps.

If everything is ok with the hoses and it still leaks while running, the float may be stuck in the carb allowing fuel to run out of the overflow. Usually to unstick the float, tap the bowl lightly with a screwdriver handle. Lightly!!!

Yes, the bottom connection is for vacuum which opens the valve. The top connection is for the gas line.

Clip a small hose to it, fold the open end in 2 and ziptie it real tight.

Hit it a few times here and there and still :< When I turn the engine on, it doesn't leak for about 10-15 seconds but then starts to leak - hmm..

I have no idea what the hell this was. It was still leaking and I took it for a ride for like 2 mins and it stopped and doesn't leak anymore! LOL

Float valve was probably stuck and the ride broke it loose.
