I started having some crankcase knocking and a bit of grinding on monday so i'm gonna split my case to see what's up with that. Tried to do an engine scrub but it did not cure anything. More wrenching to come.

The crank went in, but i need paper gasket between the 2 part of the crankcase. When i try to tight things up the crank wont turn.
Tomorow is payday so i'll go buy some gasket.
Will post a few pictures later tonight.

Solved. I used some leftover gaskets and inserted them between the case. turns freely now, so i'm off to buy some real gasket for this little baby.

If you can find specs on the width of the crank weights you could check just to be sure nothing is awry there... or possibly just look in there and see if it's right up against the case, but the lack of a gasket for spacing was probably the issue I'd guess.

If you dont have the special tool for the starterclutch nut, here is my redneck version of it: Just be carefull, the nut is made of aluminium.

It was nothing extraordinary, i watched a few youtube video about it so it was pretty straight and foward. The nice thing about a 4t poker crank, you dont need to install the bearing and you dont need some special puller to split the case. The only "hard part" was the little starter gear that's behind the variator. But since the crankshaft was to be replaced, i just went and wacked at it. The timing chain was a bit annoying to get back on the sprocket, but its very doable with a long and slim screwdriver.

Its been 18 days since i changed it, but never had the time to slap the engine back on. I did just that yesterday, but my CDI was fried. Bought a new one today and here it is: Thanks to all for sharing your knowledge tips and comments. Without this place, i wouldn't be the redneck greasemonkey that i am.
