You gotta slow down bro. If a good firm kick doesn't work then usually a harder kick won't work either.
If you go through everything first and the valves are adjusted, it has good compression, spark and the carb is clean and full of fresh new gas, mixture screw 2 turns out and the air filter is installed it should start immediately on the first or second kick.
PS: Take the kicker gears out of there before you try to run it again cause if it does start you could damage something

Pull the gears, tape over the hole, find a used cover or order a new cover.

Its just the cvt cover. Im sure a higher quality can be bought Yes, but we have seen on here where folks have ridden without that cover, and split the crankcase because, that cover is an integral part of the swing arm assembly. It adds required stiffness and support. I agree that a better cover can be had. Obviously, that one was weak for whatever reasons. Bill

They say the kick start is for emergency's only. Everyday use will cause cracks and eventually breaks. Mine looked similar to that before i used the permatex cold weld on it except there was about an inch that was still attached and was fairly strong on its own after beating it into place. They're only about $40 anyway.

On my Jog kickstart is the only way I have to start it. Its used all the time and never had a problem except I stripped a pawl once, but that wasnt the scooters fault it was due to my careless work.

Renegade what you have is the "symptom" something else caused that.Dirt or foreign matter in k/s gears.I strongly recoomend getting to the root of the problem. Then repair the crack and retain your kicker. With a cvt drive if your estart fails you are pretty well screwed and it could be in "banjo" country.

Banjo as in Deliverance? That movie still gives me nightmares, ha ha.
I agree...fix the kicker.
