Hey guys.. Just installed my s6 streetrace today.. And i forgot to tighten the spark plug when i went for a ride.. I wot for 1mile at 8800rpm and then when i lett it off.. Something banged and the scoot died.. Had to wait for 5min and then it would start right up.. I did WOT again and the same thing happened.. I couldnt believe i did a soft seasure 2 times.. But i was not shure the first time what it was.. I went home at 6000rpm or 20mph.. I wanted to check my spark plug.. And it was not tight i could screew it in for about 4 turns..
Could this be the problem to soft seasures?
Because i used to ran this cyl with a 90MJ and i doo it now also.. Thats why i couldnt beleive i was to lean..

If you tighten the plug and it stops seizing then you will have answered your own question.

Put a new plug in and make some runs. Check the color against a plug chart to see where you are lean versus rich.

Brand new streetrace? WOT? I am all for hard breaking in, but unfortunately the streetrace is known for soft seizing a lot when new, be more gentle with it please

Glad it's solved. Riding is much better than troubleshooting.

If it was me I'd be pulling the top end off and having a look see. Once the plastics are off its only 4 bolts and 2 exhaust bolts to put your mind at ease. I personally wouldn't trust a top end that I've soft seized twice with out having a look at it.

Ok, I'm a 4T guy. What exactly is a "soft seize"?

Piston expands faster than the Cylinder. The piston will stop due to friction cool and release. it generally leaves contact marks on the piston skirt.

Is this 2T only thing or do they call it something else for 4T's that I am not aware of?

I did take the whole engine feom the frame and i am about to rebuild the whole engine.. Everything new.. From crankshaft to every bolt..
Does anyone have any experience with naraku 50cc cylinder kit? It is supposed to have a little more power than the original top end.. Thanks for the info
