I have a Dual Extruder (2 colors) printer. Reasonably good at 3D CAD design.
If you have an idea for a really cool scooter part that could be 3D printed PM me and let's talk.

A friend of mine tried to print variator sliders, those 3 bush-type things in the ramp plate, but they came out in different size for some reason. Maybe you can try those

Variator slides are very "rough service". Lots and lots of heat in there too. Nylon or PETG "might" have a chance but personally, that's probably one item I wouldn't suggest trying to print, mainly also because you can buy them by the bag dirt cheap.

Seems like this would be awesome for some custom accessories like gauge mounts, etc... I've never held anything that was made with a 3d printer so not sure how strong it would be...

It absolutely is. My printer can handle a variety of materials and some of it is nearly impossible to break. ABS, PLA, PETG.
Designing a model is sometimes the hardest part.....but if you're good at 3D CAD modeling, the sky's the limit.
I'm actually designing and making a few scoot accessories. Mostly my printer has been busy making drone parts lately.
If someone gives me a really good idea I'd design it and make them one at NC as long as I have rights to make and sell.
