And so i spent a part of my Xmas money to buy a few small parts, nothing fancy, just a few miscellaneous Naraku parts. 170cc BBK Big valve head A8 Cam Stroker crankshaft Maxi speed variator Sport clutch Vented clutch bell Naraku CVT strap Some hardware. The BBK kit will go under the tree. This stuff smells like quality from a mile away and the crankshaft is one heavy SOB.

it's a +2mm stroker. Bought it mostly because its better then a stock one. also, it does not require a longer timing chain.

Dang. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't an A9 cam more performance-y than an A8?

The A8 cam is the most agressive on take off and its as good as a A14 until about 8500 rpm. The A9 A10 and A11 are the most agressive at +8000 rpm, but since i dont plan on going for more then 8000-8300 rpm, i see no point in having a cam that makes power above 8500 rpm.
Beside, what i want is some good quality parts, better then stock. The more you suck up performances from an engine, the shorter its life span will be.

A nice 30 mm Naraku racing carb and a set of 14/39 gears should hit my door step tomorrow. Starting next day off i get, its gonna get striped naked to the frame, gonna fix a few issues and the engine is getting the whole "Deluxe" treatment.
