Is there a tutorial somewhere around here or can anyone give me some tips on removing an engine from a scooter?
The scooter is a 2T Yamaha Aerox 100cc with a drum brake.
Thanks.

Here's a little info. Everyone has their own process to some degree. Supporting the scoot varies. Some of us hang them with ratchet straps rather than lifting the scooter with a moto lift or setting it on something. On bare frame stuff I use jack stands. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/392/remove-install-engine

Thanks for the tutorial.
If I'm not successful following the tutorial, I will use your suggestion with dynamite. Getting dynamite in Europe would probably be easier than getting a proper shotgun.

I can well imagine. It is quite the opposite in the US. I have never even seen a real stick of dynamite but I own two shotguns. A Sawzall will do if you run into any rounded bolts or just too much frustration Remember, It's just bolts... -And a few wires and hoses. Very simple in reality.
