Maybe your stator is going out or your electric choke is not working and sticking wide open causing it to flood out. Also as spaz12 said check the spark plug boot is on all the way. Mine will click 3 times before it's on all the way. Also if you have an open vacuum port on your intake it would be almost impossible to get the engine to start. Another thing is make sure the plug is gapped right and the plug is tight in the cylinder head.

Thanks for all your imput everyone .i do appreciate it. I finally figured it out. Your not going to believe what it was. First I checked all the vacuum lines and they were good. Then I used some propane around intake to see if it help start it. I also put some propane it the intake nipple and it still wouldn't start. Then I checked spark again and it had good spark, but sometimes it would turn over then stop turning over ubruptly. That made me think of a timing problem. So I put my finger over the spark plug hole and checked to see if the spark was at the same time as compression. Some times it would but most of the time it would spark to much or not at all. Weird. So I began to take off the flywheel cover to check and see what could cause a timing problem and low and behold the big ground wire attached to the engine by the emissions was loose. I thought it can't be this simple. Well that's what it was lol

Kool beans good to hear it was something simple. And thank you for posting the results. You wouldn't believe how few actually post after they ask a question and give the conclusion to their delema. Keep in touch and happy scooting.
