(i hope this is the correct section to post this...)
I wanted get yous youts expert opinions on these two scooters, please.
1985 Yamaha Riva 125 w/ 8,400 miles
1987 Honda Elite 150 w/ 11,700 miles
Both seem to be in very good condition. How are these scooters in general? Reliablity? Usuability? Value for buck?
If you were to purchase one, what's a good price?
Thanks!

If the Riva is 2t that's the one I would take. Both bikes Japan quality. Either would make a nice ride

Yes, both only in 4-stroke (because of engine size). Same here, spaz. i think i would lean toward the Yamaha...

That sucks. I have a little prebug with no under seat storage and that blows.

I vote Yamaha even though the article says the elite is faster.

We call the Zuma's bugeye's because of the big round headlights, but the older Zuma's don't have them and so they are commonly refereed to as prebugs Prebug: And Bugeye:

Looks wise, I'm not a fan of either to be honest. Though I do like the big round headlights. I want a Yamaha Jog RR or a Piaggio Zip. I like their styling.

Something I learned on the Honda was it didn't want to start unless the valves where adjust. It made me think the starter clutch was bad or the starter.
