hmmmm, just occured to me that for an 125cc scooter, i would need to register/have plates, have insurance, AND have a valid motorcycle license...
i'm assuming that one would choose a "big" scooter over a motorcycle is because of the perception of being easier to ride?? would this assumption be true?

I'm sure a huge factor is that they are automatic transmissions. Some need or like the stepthrough chassis or find the scooter to be more comfortable. Storage beats most motorcycles unless you add a trunk or saddlebags... which can also be added to the scooter. The "big" as in 125-200cc stuff is smaller and lighter than most bikes and comparatively effortless to pilot around town.

^^^ Yes,looking at it from this perspective, it makes total rational sense. I'm guessing more of the bigger scoot purchaser come from car owners, rather than MC owners...
