..I hate to mention this but being in a cage with nice cold air conditioning and a MP3 CD player or FM modulated / cassette adapted iPod I never have been in a hurry even with 1600cc's of automatic or 5-spd power to my disposal, in as such displacement technology is only useful to maintain 70mph on the divided free/express-way system with overpass bridges and such. If anyone is in a hurry or inappropriately speeding on a road it's likely because their payments are late, but the logic is differed as well 5minutes off a commute will probably only waste the dollar that is saved in time for that extra 5minutes early at the job. Tickets are expensive too and can sometimes maintain 574knots of performance, as we know the atmospheric snapping Concorde is now retired.
This Hawk HX series offers many configurations except driving itself:

I'm running a Modular helmet. Kinda low end at around $130-150. I got mine on sale for $85 shipped. There is some noticeable side flex in the cheek section when the chin/face is lifted. The helmet has a DOT approved decal on the back, but being from China; I have my reservations about its legitimacy.

This is one I rode with most of the time. I was looking at one of those gore websites and saw a guy that had crashed his bike. From his nose down his face was gone. The worst part being he was still alive !!!

Yeah, I like it pretty well. Only down side is when riding these small bikes with the chin lifted, it acts as an air brake and wants to jerk your head back if you suddenly change from tucked or head down riding to an upright position. Other then that it's great. Mine has a built in spring assisted sun visor like a helicopter pilots helmet.

I tried a modular helmet with my FZ1 and found it to be very noisy from the wind. That wouldn't be such an issue with my TaoTao so I wear a Shoei full face when I ride my FZ1 and a half helmet on my scoot.

I've got an extra big head, which is both annoying and a bonus when it comes to helmets. Annoying cause there isn't that many options for xxxl helmets, but it also became a bonus when I was looking for one as when you do find one there's a good chance it's been sitting on a shelf for a couple years without selling so can be had cheap! Got my NZ$250 HJC for under NZ$75 delivered from a shop clearing out old stock! Same as this:
