(didn't see "Gear" section, so...) What do yous youts wear for your scootin' duty?! Full-Face? Open-Face? Why? High-end, or cheapo? Specific design, or solid? I wanna see some pics of your helmet!! Especially those cool Scooter specific helmets.

Full face if riding in the winter and mx helmet any other time. For me that is. MX: My full face is an all black Scorpion that is beat the F up from my kids. Too embarrassed to show it. I'll be getting a new one soon

The way I look at this is how much do you like your chin. Sliding across pavement even at 20mph it wouldn't look good. I go for full face. I don't know that you need to go top of the line helmet but I wouldn't get a cheapie either. Also replace it once it's not fitting properly anymore. If it's too loose it won't protect the way it's meant to.

I've always used a 3/4 in the past but moved to a full face Mossi. Kind of low end. Reading up on such things the first place to make contact if you hit the ground will most likely be your chin. I don't like smoothies that much.
Come spring I want to get a mx helmet or some other no shield full face as I do prefer just wearing glasses over having a face shield.

I just use the dirt bike style helmet that the previous owner included. Seems to fit well and I just put some sunglasses on.
I'd rather have a visor motorcycle-y helmet but that costs money. I'd never wear an open faced helmet though. I like my face.

When sitting at a light in summertime in Las Vegas, you would understand why a full face isn't good. Summer here is brutal.

I like full-face helmets for the extra protection of your face and jaw. Even with 3/4 helmets, I've seen people get their faces messed up.
Choice of helmet is personal choice. As long as your head is covered!

I do full-face, full leather jacket (perforated, of course), full leather gloves, and proper Dainese leather boots ALL summer long! actually, it's HOTTER here in dry summer if you only have a t-shirt while riding (and of coure, you would be a squid... heh)...

Full face, full time. I find it more comfortable to wear the full face when it's 100 degrees than no helmet at all. Same with a mesh jacket. I feel cooler in it in the summer than with the sun on me directly.

I'll change my game up a bit this summer because of the Aprilia. The summers before though were on the WR and well, it's a bike that works perfectly well with an mx style helmet. Besides, I love my mx helmet
