I just noticed it says Riva on the front fairing of my Jog. Yet it says Jog on the rear/bucket fairing. I'd thought the Riva was a model of its own. The other weird thing is that when I look up Jog in the US it says '88 to like 91 and then the body style changed. Mines a '86 which makes no sense. I know everything is stock from whom I acquired it from. Long story short grandkids f'd it up years ago and the buddy I got it from got it from the original owner who said it had just sat in the garage for 13or14 years. When Yamaha first brought out the Jog it was called the Riva Jog to take advantage of the Riva name that was known in North America at the time(their first modern scooter) as they considered it apart of the Riva family but everyone just called it a Jog. So up until 1999 even though we all claaed it a Jog it was really the Riva Jog.
