Hello all,New to scooters and this forum. Friend just gave me a 50cc Taotao and have been doing some work to get it running good.. Everything works like a champ now and just ordered/recieved today the battery cover panel. Thing is it didnt come with screws. Anyone happen to know what size screw it takes? Im assuming it's metric. If anyone knows or has calipers to measure it would be much appreciated.By the way this is the cover I got...

Been buying a lot of small genuine Suzuki parts and replaced all the rounded out JIS screws in my A50's engine. Slightly more exciting than that though is the 45mm piston kit from Sweden Going to get the factory 41mm cylinder bored out by NZ Cylinders before I port it, can see a lot of areas that would benefit from a tickle with a burr. And tonight I took advantage of the 18% off code from Treatland and ordered a chamber exhaust Also a new 32mm OD header from Yamaha, turns out the old Yamaha FS1 header will fit right onto the Suzuki once the flange has 2mm ground off, meant to be a good upgrade.

The time has come to replace my wore out HiT clutch. After thousands of miles and a few builds it has served me well and I can see using anything else. Tried a Polini and it didn’t compare.

You can get a screw assortment with clips as well at Harbor Freight for about $5 that has screws that usually cover whatever comes up.

2K launch springs, connector kit for my stator-to-wire harness, and a new engine mount... no more weeble wobble! The bushings in the mount are so gone that you can literally wiggle the entire engine with your hand on the back wheel.

New clutch is here, yay! Slightly different design of what I had, springs are easier to get on which is a bonus. I’ll swap it out later tonight.

A new OEM stator for Zuma. I believe I damaged the original while changing an oil seal. Naraku solid-spline non washer pulley doohickey for my RX8. Some spark plugs. And you can never have too many exhaust gaskets.
