Certainly nothing as cool as above. I installed a cat carrier on the scooter. 🙀 Has anyone put a battery operated red flashing bike light on the rear? Here in Northern Virginia I about get run over doing 45 in a 35.

Put some extra LED stop and tail lights on the rear. I have some mounted on either side of my license plate. Flashing red lights are probably illegal. Flashing any color lights are probably illegal unless they are amber hazard warning lights. Try to avoid those 45MPH streets. There are usually side streets one can take. I have some flashing amber strobes for use in fog or snow but the police tell me they are illegal in Kansass.
Those cylinders have massive casting defects in the bore that must let combustion gasses leak very bad

Noticed the bike throttling up slightly when hitting small bumps while coasting to a stop. Figured it was the throttle cable binding somewhere, but after examining it when getting home tonight, I discovered that the intake manifold (rubber) is cracking at the seams. It must've broke all the way though, and it's leaning itself out when the carb bobs around. So I ordered a NIBBI intake. What sucks is there has been an immaculate stretch of great weather here all week and supposed to last through the weekend. Damn might have to resort to several layers of duct tape as a temporary fix.

Jeez that's more excuse than a new helmet! Nice bucket nonetheless. You gotta love yourself before anyone can love you! Protect that head

Been buying a lot of small genuine Suzuki parts and replaced all the rounded out JIS screws in my A50's engine. Slightly more exciting than that though is the 45mm piston kit from Sweden Going to get the factory 41mm cylinder bored out by NZ Cylinders before I port it, can see a lot of areas that would benefit from a tickle with a burr. So the piston arrived, sent it along with the cylinder to NZ Cylinders and they managed to snap a cooling fin off the cylinder (would run it, but it's a top fin so it stands out and is ugly!), slipped with the rotary tool while chamfering the ports on both main intake ports and left gouges big enough that I'd be worried about snagging the rings. Then they charged almost twice what I was quoted and tried to first deny any issues and then attempt to pass the blame onto either myself or the courier. Not impressed! So I've now done what I should have in the first place
