You could use any of the krylon/Rustoleum plastic paints. With any good prep work and primer; I think just about any spray paint will work well. I would suggest an etching primer as long as it's approved for plastic.

I've always used duplicolor, it's what the auto stores here carry. The quality of any paint comes down to the prep work. Rush through it and it will look like you did. If you go with metallics or pearls do a spray out first as some will require a light or dark base for the desired color.

I used the Krylon for plastic on my scooter. It worked extremely well and honestly, Krylon has the absolute best spray tip nozzles. 2nd season and going strong. For black, ironically, I used the rustoleum spray truck bed liner and that worked even better than I expected. I wanted a textured finish on the blacks and I couldn't have asked for better...

I know for a fact that DuploColor adheres well and sands and compounds to a lusterous and professional looking finish - even the metallics and flakes.

I've used Krylon on plastic & fiberglass with excellent results.
DuploColor I've used on metal with excellent results.
Depends on your color choice.
Excellent surface prep is mandatory! Make surface is free of any grease & oil (3M wax & grease remover is perfect for this). Use a quality primer, and enough of the primer to sand it without going through. Make sure primer is not too smooth, the paint needs something to stick to. Usually a light going over with a scratchy pad will do. Wet sand color before applying clear coat if you don't want Orange peel in the finished product.
Prep and taking your time means everything!

Im sure when prep work is done properly all the A-brand paints are good. It's just a matter of choosing the right color. When you're done hold the can upside down and spray 3-4 seconds until all the paint is out of the tube and nozzle, it prevents clogging up.
- Degrease surface super thorough with thinner prior to painting. Keep greasy fingers far away from the surface. - Heat up the spray can so the paint flows and atomizes better. - And all the other precautions like masking, spray distance, spray intervals, cure temps, cure time, post sanding and polishing.
