Honestly, the best thing to do is either clean the carb or buy a new one. You probably have it backed out so much the spring is no longer holding tension. These carbs are really easy to clean and real cheap to buy if you don't want to fool with it.

You have a restriction somewhere. Are you running a stock air filter? Have you checked it lately? If your air filter is fine, then more than likely your idle circuit is clogged in the carb. You can literally get a new one for around $30 or less if staying stock. GY6 50cc carb

You could try removing the needle and squirting some carb cleaner in the hole to help clean and dislodge the crud. There will be a spring, o-ring, and tiny washer that will be part of the needle assembly kind of like the setup on the left of this pic: So when putting the needle back in, it should be the needle with the spring slid over it, then the small washer, then the o-ring will be put on the needle last. Make sure when putting the needle back in you lightly seat it when it bottoms out screwed all the way in, then back it off around 1.5 turns out and start tuning from there.
