Just a basic 80cc bbk. Don't have a bunch of money to spend on it but would like a good quality one that will hold up for a couple years without having to tear the engine back down and do it again.

Everything I've read on here implies that once you go that big it's going to break something.

Seems the consensus is as long as it's under 50mm. Maybe I am wrong. There's a lot of BBK info in the build threads here.

I think Naraku may be a good choice and affordable!
Don't remember what I had in my shopping cart but I picked the best reviews for the price!

If it were me and it was an unknown machine first I would check the end gap on the rings.Altho you followed the correct procedure on your compression test and the oiled cylinder produced improvement indicating cylinder wear, rings and piston perhaps. But 200#s oiled indicates you put in too much oil.So it kinda invalidates your test.Mic the cylinder in appropriate spots, then the piston. If the end gap is out of spec I'd spend 7 bucks on eBay for new 39mm rings. Then you should be able to start it and see what you have bought. You mentioned the bike had 700 miles that makes me wonder what's going on with wear that quickly.I fear it may have been run with shipping oil or never had an oil change. What I am getting at is 7 bucks ain't much of a risk until you find out what's up with the bike. But I am sure you have made up your mind on doing a BBK.If that's the case I'd search eBay and Ali express for the cheapest cylinder piston only setup 72cc retain the stock head, and spend your savings on a new carb and jet kit.JMO

Getting close to 3,000 miles on my 50mm BBK. So far no end in sight...doing great...knock on wood...... quickly.
I like the 50mm kit because it DEFINITELY provides more torque for acceleration and hill climbing than the 72cc kit.
But the 52mm kit piston gets heavy and I need more feedback before going that far.
