Installed the bbk. Compression is at 150-160. Wouldn't start at first, bad cdi, put a good one on and it fired right up. Idled fine. Adjusted the idle air and speed screws. Gonna take her out in the morning for the first ride. It's too late now.

Take it easy and let it warm up before you run it flat out. Why do I smell something burning? Like burnt oil? I smelled it instantly as soon as I started it up. Maybe it's just burning off from where some may have gotten on the engine? I replaced the valve seats and all the gaskets are new. Is this normal after a bbk install? Obviously the old piston had problems. Maybe it's still smelling from the previous owners problems? Hope nothing is wrong because this thing is fun to ride

Whew, I was worried for a minute butbyea after a good ride the smell went away. Now to change the oil
