So after i installed this i noticed alot of vibration (so bad that u can hear it if u hit a big dip in the road) when i would hit bumps. Maybe i should have welded the brace to the part im pointing at instead of where it is? Its not a hard fix if so. Any suggestions? I never had this vibrating issue before i installed this. And the only other modification i did that same night was the a9 cam and i know that has nothing to do with it

Yeah, you should attach to the frame. The engine mount I'd imagine would transmit a lot of vibes.

That was def my issue. I just cut it off at the bottom and took it for a test ride and no vibration at all. Im gonna weld it to the other part of the frame and see how that goes

I can't imagine how much your scoot hated having that bar on the motor mount. Glad you got it sorted.

I am dying to do this mod on my bikes too. Just waiting for a reason from house president to buy a welder.

I am dying to do this mod on my bikes too. Just waiting for a reason from house president to buy a welder. Just get a frame-looking type part, saw it part way through, then bust it. Show her the part, don't let her get a real good look at it. Then tell her you are going to the store because you need a welder! When you get back practice welding the piece. When you get your first booger weld done show it to her with pride!
