Dealer was installing new tires and broke off the screw that holds the exhaust to the engine. They are telling me it needs a new cylinder head. Can I just upgraded to a 70cc or 80cc or is there more to it than that.
Thank you for any help you can give me.

P.S. What is the best one to go with and where do I buy it?

I don't see how they can tell it needs a new cylinder head just because they snapped the exhaust bolt. They need to drill and tap a new hole and fix what they broke.

If they are paying for it, go ahead and upgrade.

If the was nut was tight they knew it. They should of applied heat or penetrating oil. I order to get it loose. I would think it's their problem. If they are willing to work with you buy the bbk with a jet kit and have them install for free then they are out no money. But if not they should be responsible for it. Just my opinion.

As long as it's on THIER dime go for a BBK.
At the worst, they should replace the CYLINDER not the cylinder head.....
They should be able to drill and tap the exhaust mount for a new stud...

If it's a two stroke, and they're telling you it needs a new head because they broke an exhaust stud, there is a problem....
If you could put your hands on a replacement head quickly, like from a buddy's parts pile, it would be fun to take it to them and tell them to fix it.

Exhaust doesn't attach to head. Will either need a bolt extraction (and maybe a thread tapped) Or a new cylinder make sure they don't try to mess with you

At the least, go online and get a good detailed picture if a head for a 1e40qmb motor. Take it to the shop and ask them where the exhaust bolts to on the head. Should be good for a laugh if nothing else.

I am curious how they broke an exhaust "stud" while changing tires. I would run far, far away from that shop.

The pipe is that close? Seems counter productive to have a single sided mounting that requires exhaust removal. Loss of sex appeal for me. Lack of functional engineering is bad engineering. But...I have a Honda Gyro. Many curious parts and functions.

Exhaust removal is very common for rear wheel removal on one piece exhausts.
