started off looking like this I have a taotao thunder sitting around that the plastics are all messed up on that im prolly gonna just use for parts or make it a naked scoot so i decied to take the led strips out of the brake light.. then i took the light out of my stock housing and drilling little tiny holes where the screw holes were in the led strips.. then i put small screws in to secure them in a row put the cover back on and the housing back in and hooked all the wires back up..final product next im gonna figure out how to do the turn signals... wonder if it would look dumb if i just left my stock turn signals on and added the LED turn singals right next to them lol

NICE conversion!!!
To convert the turn signals you will need a three terminal flasher unit. You may have one already or you may have to wire one in. Get the electronic type, they draw less current. You will also need LED bulbs. It is fairly simple.

Make sure they are the right type of LED bulbs without the current load resistors.

Great work so far. I would either use one signal or the other if you're going for a clean look. On the other hand, having more working signals and increased visibility isn't a terrible idea.
