Are those 2 pipes same in performance once the restrictors are removed from the City 16? Or is the classic Carrera 16 still outperforming the City 16?

This discussion is going on since 2007 when the city16 came out. No one REALLY knows... From looks I think the city16 isn't as good as the c16. I think the c16's fabrication process is more consistently because of the pressed header (diffusor part is fabricated by robots I recon). The city16's header is probably hand made.

considering that both cost almost the same, id go with the C16.

I was going for the City 16.07 because I can use the center stand and the pipe is somewhere between the Yasuni R and Carrera 16. I am sure either pipe will work better with my MHR Replica setup than my current V8.

Yeah either the R, City16 and C16 will work excellent on an MHR rep!

190mechOnce I receive the City 16 pipe I can give you measurement and we have a very high-tech endoscope at the company so I will be able to look inside it and take even pictures.

let us know what the verdict is on the city 16, if it doesnt have any internal baffles and works great, ill know what my next pipe will be. because like you i prefer a pipe that i can use my center stand with.

Here's the restrictions for the homologated Yasuni pipes (including the city 16) and how to remove them. www.pedparts.co.uk/blog/yasuni-exhausts-how-to-derestrict

COOL!I'm interested if it has the perforated cone inside the baffle cone like the LeoVince pipes do to cut noise levels...

Discussions have been going on about this for ever. General opinion is the city is just the road legal version of the careers on most forums. Means you have to derestrict the city, but get the EU stamp on the pipe if the police start looking.
