Is there a name or product number stamped on the pipe? Just wanna know if I will be able to confirm that what I will receive is really a City 16.07 and not a R07

Thats what was worrying me all the time looking for 2nd hand city's. Not knowing if you have a R or C16. But you can see where the mounts are on the expansion chamber. The city16 is shorter so the mounts are placed further backward on the pipe compared to the R. Take a good look at the pics and you'll see the differences.

You can see the mount on the city16 is in between two welds. The mount on the R is right on top of a weld, in between two cones.

Wonder why it is so difficult to put a number or any product info on the pipe? For all I know someone could sell R07 as City 16.07 and the regular dudes wouldn't even realize it. I mean even hardcore pipe guys like you are having difficulties to tell them apart.

If you look at my pipe build article; 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/10395/stroke-pipe-building-information?page=12nd pic is a C21,the last stage baffle cone is written as 74-105.5-25(diameter-length-diameter), many other good examples are in there also posted by our great members of this forum!! Measuring a bend length(headpipe),is best done with some soft wire like a coat hanger, its laid on the side of the bend on the center line, not the top and bottom.. Hope this helps!

Today I got the pipe in a box that was not stock Yasuni. I have seen in videos that the Yasuni pipes get delivered in Yasuni boxes. Well it's just a box you might say and you would be right but on the Yasuni box it says fragile! on my box it didn't. You will see in the images below that the box was a bit too tight and it opened a tiny hole which is not a big deal but not very cool either. Looks like the bracket that holds the silncer got grinded around a bit when unloading/loading the box. Is there a manual usually contained inside the box? If so I didn't get one. Shouldn't be all too hard to put the bracket on though. No stickers from scootertuning.ca this time only 2 small Yasuni stickers, considering the price of that pipe a few cool stickers would have been nice. And on one of the images below you will see that there is this homologation plate welded to the pipe which has a number stamp on it REF: 326 which I think stands for the Yasuni City model number. Yasuni Z has 901, Yasuni R has 902 R0.7 has 317. So it is rather easy to find out what pipe it is. After I unboxed the pipe I went to the local bike shop and got the restrictor out. Luckily scootertuning.ca sells the pipe with only one restrictor so no need to take apart the silencer. So now here the images, enjoy. Box very little damaged. Damage close up. Unboxing! There is a number or pipe stamp after all.

Luckily Yasuni has a very nice pdf sheet with details of the bracket and all parts. Check here
