Went to pay my phone bill about 2 miles up the road and my exhaust broke and I had a flat tire.. Wtf. Now I'm just gonna weld the muffler to the exhaust pipe

Figured out why. The cap was hitting this and bending the stem causing air to leak out everytime the tire would spin.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to replace that stem and aim it the other way. Did the threaded holes strip out? If not, you could try thread locker on the bolts and then just check periodically.

The bolts fell out somewhere on the road so I'm just gonna weld it on. As far as the valve stem I'm gonna see if it will still hold air

Well I can't weld it because the pipe is metal and the muffler is aluminum so I gotta go to the hardware store and get some bolts that match the one I have left

They probably won't be that hard to find or very expensive. I think most of those use M6x1.0 or M8x1.25.

I just put the caps on and rode about a mile home. I heard something but I thought it was a rock in my tire. I hear that all the time. I got the valve stem replaced but apparently there is a hole in my tire too big to plug so now I gotta buy a tire. Anyone got a 120-70-12 they wanna sell lol
