Scooter starts then immediately dies.
I ran out of gas. Put gas in it. Changed spark plug to agk.
It cranks roars then just dies really quick?

Ok i cleaned carb Got it to start drove around neiborhood n it was fine wen i drove it to family dollar it died in me. I used starting fluid to get it bac to start to get back home i think its this gasket I took off cap to clean carb now the gasket wont fit. Any suggestions    |

If you smashed or cut that diaphragm last time it's no good and you will need a new one. If its still good though it will fit. honestly I hate those things too. They never want to sit right. You must get the outside lip in the grove while keeping the folds uniform all the way around, then it will fit.

Ok i got it back on now my scooter runs 20 mph it ran 45 before i ran out of gas and cleaned carb

Now i gpt it running. .. but now it only goes 15 to 20 mph and the the muffler ouffs or bogs on acceleration. Is it the valves i need to check next?

Those diaphrams swell up if you use carb cleaner on them. You may need to get a new one.

If all you did was the carb. I would say your problem is in the carb.

I'm no pro with scooters but mine was doing the same thing with a new carb, and my max speed was about 25mph. It turned out that my exhaust valve had to big of a gap. After adjusting them to the spec gap, it idles for the 1st time, and I was able to go 40mph (@8000rpm, where it begins to redline).

I set both at .003 never had an issue
