i have a 47mm BBK with aftermarket exhaust and a bunch of other upgrades...5 gram rollers...etc.. what im wondering is on my VIP how accurate is the stock tachometer? i know my RPMs are pretty high.. it cruises at around 8500rpm and takes off at around 9000rpm.. i dont ever let it get above 9500 on the tach even when im going down hills because i have heard thats bad for the engine... i was just wondering how accurate they are

There are some stock tachs that are way off, but generally the ones I've been around don't seem to be cursed with the gross inaccuracy that is common with speedometers.

The one on my Keeway is right on with my trail tech. Actually my digital speedo only reads 1-2 mph high.

Check it with a good tach at a shop. You may have to do some math. These scoots put out one pulse every revolution.

I guess I forgot to mention it cruises at around 43-44 mph at 8700rpm and my top speed on flat ground is around 46-47 at around 9300rpm. I try to never let it get any higher than that... I don't use my stock speedometer. I use my GPS app on my phone with the phone mounted in the phone holder

Hell, I see some 'grownups' playing that crap.
Just hoping you don't have an accident. I would miss your posts.
I never have played computer games or otherwise unless I count Gyrus at an arcade ages ago and I beat the machine the first time out. Games didn't hold much interest. I hear some are more realistic now. I never understood why I couldn't shoot through a chair, couch, or wall. I have time but I have no interest.
