I put a switch to the fuel enricher on the carb. Should it be connected to the battery "dc?"or after the rectifier on a " ac" line. Stock tao tao 49cc.

The fuel enrichers are normally AC powered. They only get power after starting the scooter. The connector receives 12v regulated AC.
So to answer your question, you can put your switch on the AC line (either the ground or Yellow wire). I would use a single pole single throw switch rated for 15 amps or more....safety margin.

You can wire the enricher to be powered by DC if you'd like. I did that to one of my 2Ts, because I built a wiring harness from scratch and never expected to use a stock carb again. It worked just fine and it was easy to remove when I was done with the stock carb. Just two wires with a switch inline and I added an LED light to the circuit so I wouldn't forget and leave it on. You could do something similar, but with ignition swtiched power so you wouldn't forget. As humanshield said though, in stock form they are AC powered and just adding a switch inline is probably your easiest option.
