I was perusing Craigslist.org and came across a couple of four stroke Tritons. I was under the impression that they only came in a two stroke model. Are these aftermarket changes or did the factory build a 4T?

Most of the China model scoots are available in 2t and 4t like that. Wouldn't surprise me if there's an electric version with that body style also...

Would a swap to a two stroke be easy or are the engine mounts different?

Tritons were only 2Ts till later in their run.
The 139QMB and 1E40QMB definitely use a different mounting setup, so the only way it's an easy swap is if the frames are equipped for either. I wouldn't count on that being the case.

I was considering a Triton as a parts bike until I noticed it was a 4t. Makes it less desirable since mines a 2t.
