His dumb ass didn't know what it was called I payed a different mechanic to put the belt n variator on . Cause I couldn't get the nut off even with the variator lock Really? Floyd, this is exactly why you should work on your scoot. Evidently, someone waaay over torqued your variator nut probably with an air impact wrench. I believe the manual calls for 30-35 ft. pounds and I take mine to 40 and use blue lock tite but, I can still easily remove that nut with a regular socket wrench using the same locking tool you have. You are lucky they didn't rip the crankshaft threads clean off! I hope that someday soon, you can just enjoy months of trouble free scoot riding. I believe you have earned it. Bill

Well my real question is I posted a video where I push the kick start lever n sounds as if the gears striped he said it was the kick start rachet gear .... Does mine look corrupt in anyway? Could this be the problem or what ?

Ok, So i realized that my gear assembly wont push out all the way when i hold down the kick lever. when i put pressure on the gear assembly it doesn't twist up and pop back down. it just stays flush. witch is why i get a grinding sound when kicked. Anyone else have this problem?

Are your teeth striped? If so maybe someone knows of a vender with replacements.

If the half moon isn't stripped and the teeth on the shaft of the do-hickey that contacts the vari isn't stripped. They may just be out of position.
