properly tighten a cylinder stud?

when removing the rocker arms, one of the cylinder studs came out with the nut. it is not stripped and will screw right back in but my question is how do i properly tighten it?

Two nuts tightened against each other on the stud, run it in, use two wrenches to break the nuts loose so you don't just unscrew the stud.

That's an easy solution that I wouldn't have thought of. Great idea!
