Hey all. New to the forum but not to scooters. I have a 2007 Keeway ARN 150cc Scooter. I bought it and sold it and bought it back with an exploded piston. I am having a really hard time finding a replacement head and cylinder for this motor. Not looking for a bbk, just want it running again. All other heads and cylinders I have found are extremely close but one bolt hole or another does not line up. Engine stamp says "qj157qmj-2". Has standard 4 bolt valve cover and takes a standard 150 gy6 variator and bell clutch. Needless to say I am stumped. This is a really strong motor. Out runs all New 150's in my area so I want it back to stock or as close as possible. Thanks in advance.

I think we may have the same motor. And mine is also faster than many 150's (except the 4 valve head TGB) I had the same problem. Order and received enough parts to build several 150 motors and there was ALWAYS something wrong and it didn't fit. I never solved the issue and reconditioned the old parts except for the rings. Some people say it "shouldn't" be that hard......they haven't been through it  Please let me know if you find a source. |

Partsforscooters,oh get a micrometer and you can match deck height and bolt holes.

 these are the measurements. Everything seems like a standard 150 gy6 except for the 2 side bolts. I've tried 2 different cylinders, neither of which lined up. I really need help and anything to point me in the right direction would be appreciated. |

I'm having the same issue with an xy157qmj.
I have the 2 bolt valve cover. Scrappy tried to help but I had to return the 2 heads I ordered.
I began searching ATV and buggy dealers.
I may have a lead

Still cant find parts for this...anyone got bn157qmj head and/or cylinder pics they can post? And possibly measurements to compare?

I called scrappy, they were supposed to send me measurements and more angles of the head. But nothing yet. Ill call them tomorrow and ask again.

Some better pics of what I'm working with. Might be able to repair the head but the exhaust valve broke. Any help is appreciated.
