I have a zummer 49cc scooter with all most everything done to it 100 kit big valve head 21mm carb race variator but I was wondering if a GY6150 motor would bolt right up to it or would I have to do a bunch of fab work to make it work

There are some topics on here about it somewhere. (try the search feature) But, yes, you do have to be able to weld and a lot of fabrication has to be done because, and I always get confused about which is which, one of the engines is a top mount and the other is a bottom mount. Short answer no.
Long answer, a lot of welding and a conversion kit it can be done.

After seeing the quality of the frames, and having to reweld an engine mount because the steel tube tore around the weld; i wouldn't want to be going too fast on it without strengthening the entire thing first.

Yeah I was wondering because there's a scooter shop by me and he was telling there was a 150 that was the same and would bolt right up

Typical GY6 125/150 has top mounts. Exceptions include a motorcycle style variation and Sym/Lance engines.

Its been done, If you have the pockets(cash), time, tools, and the skills to take on this type of project, then by all means go for it.
This type of swap is really popular in the stretched Honda Ruckus scene.

A gy6 150 swap is rather easy, ive do one, went back to my 2 stroke and i am going back to the gy6 again. as long as you have all the parts needed for the swap, including engine, carb, exhaust, wiring, wheel, brake shoes and engine mount. and if you have a welder, you can have it done in under 4 hours.
now my swap was from a 1e40qmb 2 stroke to the gy6 and was easy for me. but since i havent worked with the 139qmb frame i couldnt tell you much, but youll have to either weld the gy6 150 engine mount to the frame solid, or if you want the keep the mount bushings then youll have to fab up some frame tabs for the engine mount.
also with the frame tabs, it will allow you to keep the stock 139qmb mounting points and you can switch back to the smaller engine if you ever needed to.
also if you do the 150 swap, make sure you have the wheel aligned properly to the front one, also there is a chance that your stock shock mount wont align as well, so you may have to either move it, or make another one and weld it to the frame.
i hope this helps a little.
