It is best to purchase jets. Drilling jets is highly unreliable due to the profile of the drilled hole, chamfers, edges, burrs, surface finish, etc.

I like buying jets because it's simple. No drilling and then filling and re-drilling and so on. Pick what works. That said, it's not a bad idea to have a way to check your jets. I just found some of mine to be way off. A 105 was much smaller than a 110, to the point that one made it sputter and not run and the other made it soft seize.

The leading and trailing hole edge profile makes a huge difference in flow rates.
