I need something like that on my 2t, which is DC and has a very small battery.
Could you do a write-up on what unit you have and how you hook it in and how it works? I have a Cigarette lighter on 1 of my scoots, the other 2 will be getting them also. It's nice to have a plug in power source for my GPS.

I'm using these on my scoots. Bought a 3 pack, it was cheaper that way. They came with adapters so they are permanently mounted on the batteries. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A6G5SB4Would be nice to have a cigarette lighter port to plug them in. I think rigging one up would be pretty easy. Will probably do that in the spring. All you'd have to do is splice the lead that connects to the battery into a cigarette lighter, then splice the plug for the lighter onto the other end of the lead and you'd have both an extra power outlet, and a place to plug in the battery tender. I'm gonna go with one of these: www.amazon.com/dp/B00PBKO2YYAnd one of these: www.amazon.com/dp/B0090149R0

Its good to see you have a charger that works with the Lithium battery. Not sure why you need the charger installed in the scooter. If you have a good battery and the scooters charging system is working properly there isn't really a need for the trickle charger unless there are long periods of no riding. A properly tuned scooter should take very little effort to start(w/electric starter) and the scooters charging system should keep the battery properly charged. Not sure if the vibrations/bumps on the roads are good for the charger from riding around. Also if you scooter was stolen, you just gave them the charger too.
If you need this charger all the time to keep the battery charged, there are other issues with your scooter you need to address.

I have used a 12V power port on my scoot for years now to charge/maintain the battery. I also use it to charge my phone and to test the electrical system charging voltage while the scoot is operating. The charging system tester is a plug-in unit from Harbor Freight that works well. I also use the port to run a 12V fuel pump to transfer fuel out of a 5 gallon gas can into my scoot tank. The port is installed with a 10A circuit breaker to my battery so it is hot at all times.
I keep my battery charger in the garage where I keep my scoot.
