I found this for sale near by, Seller was asking $500 now is at $300-400 depending on which ad you read w/obo option. The catch, its all torn apart. Looks like everything is there but I didn't see the fan shroud cover in any of the pics. All the plastics look in very good shape. Has a lot of go fast goodies installed. Supposedly 70 kit too. Suzuki/Morini engine Few pics. Did some research, a few places out there have some parts for this model. Think it would be a fun winter project. Any thoughts?

Update: Running a new Ad "Scooter racing 50cc 2 stroke big bore(70cc)" "Scooter rare very good shape like new. Great winter project. Bike is worth over 1500, running, 3k new. Needs a throttle cable and to be finished up. 80 miles, first owner didn't break it in right, new motor with big bore kit, 13in. maxxis road race tires, Kevlar belt, HP clutches and a lot of parts, pipe alone was 100 bucks. lost interest and no time, want it out of the way. 250.00 cash firm, no trades, paid 600 with a bad motor, bike is mint. never dumped, deliver if local." Sent another message. Wish they would answer. @ $250 I am really interested.

Be careful of the 2006 they had bad cranks. My 2007 had crank failure as well. If he did all of that work I would hope he would replace the crank.

Finally made contact. Going to look/pick it up at 2 today. Keeping my fingers crossed. Here are the ad's newlondon.craigslist.org/mcy/5832482899.htmlnewlondon.craigslist.org/mcy/5838011945.htmlnewlondon.craigslist.org/mcy/5851164619.html I found this in the back of my truck.
Thanks everyone for all the feedback/input. There is a funny story with this scooter, I actually tried buying this scooter a year or so ago, the guy I bought it from today beat me to it back then. The previous owner was telling me how he acquired it. Halfway thru his story I told him to stop and I finished the story for him. The original owner had a problem with the exhaust, so he remove it and rode it for a bit. We know what happens next. LOL I ask the seller when he got it if the exhausts missing, hey said "yup, how did you know" ? This scooter was from an estate sale and the guy seeing it the first time was the the brother of the original owner. I remembered the story.
