Tips: Have the vid on your phone while you do the install. Take off all panels necessary for you to have good working room. Also pay attention to the circlips positioning. They are a PITA but if one comes out you've had a bad day. In the vid he shows you how to fit the piston into the cylinder and mentions you may have to come completely out and start over a few times. Once it all lines up correctly you won't have to force it.

What I do, is have one of my laptops right next to me so I can have a bigger image of what's going on and can pause or rewind to watch again if I am unsure... Like say the piston rings for instance.. watch him do one.. like the oil ring, then watch him do the bottom thinner rings, make sure you do it right, then to the next ring, recheck, then the next one.. recheck, then align and space the gaps. Then before going to the next step or chapter, make sure what is in front of you looks just like what you are seeing on the screen.

That's the one.
Good luck. Watch ALL the videos before you go any further (at least twice) is my best advice.

Yes, it does look like an upper ring. The reason it bent instead of snapping in two is because there are alot of cheap grade rings out there that are very soft and weak material. We don't sell the cheap one's. It makes installation a little harder because you can snap them, but the harder material ensure's longer life

Maybe this will be helpful for the ring names.

I got it to crank but it's really loud and smoky video of valve adjusting and attempt to crank next It cranks however white smoke is coming from the valve hose it sounds good however it cuts out when I give throttle probably because I only have one oil ring in it I'm still waiting on the other ring coming tuesday

Don't think I would run it like that. Might be some heat issues and plug fouling maybe worse.
I know, it's hard but wait for the rings.
You could disassemble and get all tools and parts laid out. When the rings come in you'll be ready to roll. Probably some detailing to be done. Check for loose bolts etc.

Mark the adjuster nut with fingernail polish to see if its coming out of adjustment. Or better yet, wait for those rings.
