I went to work one morning last yr in 0 degree weather I bundled up though. It's my main form of transportation so I have no choice Same here, unless I want to take my wife to work at 5:30 am so I'll have the car for the day.
Wha..? zero? is that like 0 Kelvin?

Usually just some neoprene gloves and thin weatherproof jacket, hoodie, thermals, jeans, and 2 pair of socks, face mask, and a beanie. Unless its raining I ride. Suck it up buttercup lol.
Wha...?? riding in the rain is the most fun you could have with your pants on, mate

I find that the scooters are FAR friendlier in the cold and rain because I can stay dry behind those front fairings and it also blocks the wind from the waist down.
this is why scoots are much better... heh

MN here, one scooter stored, the other in full project stage, and a polaris indy snowmobile waiting for feet of snow to happen. Took it out once for half hour, 3 days later it rained (for 2 days) and the snow all melted. Its about to go full arctic next weekend, but no word on any measurable snowfall yet. I'm starting to wonder if our winters will ever get ridable snow anymore. We used to have feet by christmas... Still enjoy blowing across frozen lakes at 95mph though =D
PS - Look into snowmobile gear! It may be winter, but road salt and a few sunny days at 5F will dry out the roads - good for a 2 hour ride for me!

No I live in southern Missouri, the lowest it'll get is typically in the teens.

I rode in -2C/28F last week plus the 35KMH/22MPH(-10C/14F) headwind at 105KPH/65MPH equals about -21-25C/-4-13F. But its not the coldest that I've ridden in. It was -6C/21F with a headwind of 55-60KPH/37MPh god my hands were bloody freezing at the end of that hour long ride.

Same here tiny I ride year round everyday and even in snow(if its not deep) try not too unless its really a must,I can say when temp gets down to 5° f and the winds blowing 20 mph your hand feel like there gonna fall off even with heavy duty gloves,I use heavy duty Dickie's bibs and long johns and pants and 2 hoodies and dickies jacket and I'm pretty toasty,I'd go crazy going a week with out riding!!!

The last ride I went out on it was 39 degrees, with the gear I have, that's the limit, and when snow hit's the ground it's the Jeeps turn to play. Although I am going to have to suffer a test ride on a 150cc next week...

That ride that I took 4 years ago wouldn't be as bad now as I have better cold weather gear and heated grips . But yeah when the wind it that cold your hands are blocks of ice and ya can't even take anything off to warm up . That the gods for my wife
