My taotao 49cc was runing good for 2 weeks after I installed the bbk. Today I road it down the street to a friends house and back ran like a top. I put it in my truck drove to the neighboring city its the same atitude. Rode it down the street it ran good for about a half block and started back firing throught the carb with full throttle. It would run fine at idle and would start fine. I'm not quite sure what the issue could be I thinks it ether the timeing chain hopped a gear or the fuel has water. Any thoughts? All anwsers much appreciated.

did yoy have it on the center stand while it was in the truck? that will shake the shit out of it, maybe something has come loose and is causing an air fuel issue, or maybe the float needs to checked out.
doesn't sound like a timint issue. I would start with making sure it is not a air/fuel issue first. do you have some reason to believe that there might be water in the gas?

But i checked the timing and it is good, opened up the carb it was all good I changes the plug. Then I changed the cdi. the cdi made a significant difference the bike ran better. But the top end still spudderd a bit so I belive it is ether the coil or the pick up the stator.
