Well, you say its too cramped. Why not sell it and build you own offroad scoot then? The only thing you need is longer travel shocks and some coarse tires. You could have some lengtened forklegs made and buy a longer rear shock? It only takes some inventive Thinking since you're going the diy path instead of the plug and play path. You have like 3 vespa's right? Why not sell the zuma and source another piaggio based scoot like a gilera runner 180cc and go from there?
unfortunately, I lack the talent for such endeavor (I think my priority should be finding a gf, and being happy again... ), and time...

I never take pics. Oh wait... Here is where I started out with pegs on my TaoTao. Just steel pipe welded to the frame. It's all shown in the link, but long story short; they were a hazard when leaned. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/128629/threadI bought folding pegs and installed them on the steel pipe. Now they're great. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/185868/threadI've got pegs on 2 of my scoots now. Both are dropped from the floorboard height and that gives a lot more leg room. No comparison of comfort before and after, at least for me at ~6'2' and with size 13 shoes. Most probably won't want to tear a scoot apart and weld on pegs or peg holders, but I'm sure it can be worked around. I know scoots like the Honda Ruckus have a bar that mounts to the floor mounts with pegs on the end. That idea could be used to put pegs on many scoots. It would still require some fab to drop the pegs, but it would be easier than welding to the frame and not so permanent. If you had all of the measurements and a set of pegs, you could prob take that to a welding shop and have something made up to bolt on if nothing exists in the aftermarket already. There are also bolt on peg kits, if you are lucky enough to have a structural support right where you want a peg.

^^ Yeah, too bad not many drop-ins are available...
But your foldable pegs are cool!

So, I finally had a chance over the weekend to ride her more than several feet... Holy smokes this thing is soooo cramped!!! Am I really that fat, or is this thing so cramped at the helm?? wtf Seriously, it's almost dangerous how cramped it is. You're almost steering with your elbows, and there is NO foot space (size 10)! You can't place your feet forwards or rearwards... incredible. The Zuma 50 feels like a limo compared to this (well... not really, but you get what I'm sayin'...) Well, I guess I better get used to it... btw, does anyone use like foot pegs on their Zumas? I thought I seen some aftermarket pillion pegs, and some "highway" pegs?? ZuMike on Zuma Forums makes bolt on pegs for the 125. I'm sure there are plenty of other places you can get them as well. Look up "highway pegs Zuma 125"

hmmm, I must be really dumb... I tried to register on zumaforum.net, so I could get more info, but I can't answer their approval question, "Who lead administrator of ZF?:". I even looked around on other pages to get some info regarding this, but not getting it...
And that sentence doesn't make sense, unless it's misspelled. hmm Oh well...
