(did search...)
Yous youts know what the largest tire I could mount on me 2004 Vino 50? I'm sure the stock sizes are 80-10 F / 90-10 R.
I was thinking aboot mounting some 100/80 or 90-10 and 120/90-10 street tires. Any clearance issues? And I'm pretty sure they are tubeless...

Say wha? I see just numbers... j/k Yeah, Vino uses 80/90 front and rear. You could change the rear to 90/90 or even larger if the rear panels gives you enough clearance. But front, you are restricted to 80/90 anything larger than that will rub on the front fork springs. You could swap the fork though than you can definitely put in 90/90 or even a bit larger.

DAng it! farggin clearance issues (... hmm. I was thinking aboot some sexual innuendo to stick in there... but. ... hmmm)!
Have you actually tried 90/90-10 front??

Have you actually tried 90/90-10 front?? Yep, tried. When I bought the Vino the previous owner had 90/90 mounted and some part of the left side wall of the tire was scrapped away. It was constantely rubing on the front fork springs. We thought first it might be just a old tire issue so we mounted a brand new Michelin S1 tire and same issue arised. Finally went with 80/90 front and rear.

Yeah the font scrapes just a bit on one side when hard cornering, but they have been fine for several thousand miles. For some reason the tire/rim leans to the left naturally a bit. I think due to the design of the front end. I loosened and tighten the axle several times in an attempt to straighten it out but no luck. It does not seem to affect handling even at 55 mph.

too bad they don't make 80 wide with 100 aspect ratio tire. something taller, but not wide to rub the spring...

have you looked into getting a 12 inch wheels? more stability at your 55?

12" front would require a fork change and disc brake upgrade, and I dont know if a 12" wheel and tire will even fit on the rear.

yeah, if they don't have a straight bolt on options, then forget it.
Gonna do Michelin S1 90/90-10 front, and install 100/80-10 rear I have laying around.

Would a 2.75/10 tyre work for the front or only an 80/90-10. Just wondering as i cant find anything in both 80/90 & 90/90 here in Canada its either or & i dont want 2 different tyres on my scoot because i want the larger rear tyre for better clearance for my exhaust. But a 2.75-10 is similar to a 80/90 any idea if it would fit?
