How many of us knows it all and just pops a question up about a problem on the forum instead of say looking in Tech info sections say on the basics just because we have worked on engine's most our lives. I for one am guilty. It came to me when trying to follow a Haynes manual today which covers so many models but doesn't mention things like different number of teeth on oil pump. I find more looking now rather than just randomness of questions getting an answer sometimes going to act on it a few days later and can't find it or asking it again in another post about something else. So from now on I shall try and keep it all under the same section. I'm fine at home on computer, but lots of time ask on my cell phone which is limited with its search and find speed. I will also look more before asking 😊

ive thought kinda the same thing but sometimes you may need a little more detail or cant catch on by the way something is worded or layed out. and myself, alot of time i find its easier/better to speak with someone one on one or start a new conversation about my problem in specific. but your right some people dont search and the same questions are ask over and over. i generally try and find info before asking but im also guilty of the crume when need be lol especially uf using a phone, the search results are no good and mostly irrelevant

Me,me,and me. I think it is our culture, I want it now and how I want it and when I want it. I could go on about working for your "reward or information", and how that will permeate other areas of ones life, but I won't. I need a beer.

there are other forums out there where anytime someone ask a question, the only response is use the search function, or do your research then flaming the op, for being lazy and not wanting to read.
this is a much friendlier forum, and more people have been run off those other forums than ever visit it regularly. noobs asking noob questions is what keeps forums active. jmho
