So me and a friend were jamming some offroad today and I noticed a weird knock when taking off from a stop. Got home and tore down the transmission to find this: These are Glixal brand. I had trust in their product but now... Hmm. I swapped my gear out and kept the 49 with a 15t now. Lost my top end

Maybe the gears were not designed for "jamming some offroad" 2nd, with the aluminum traces where I highlighted, I would question the condition of the engine case.

Maybe the gears were not designed for "jamming some offroad" I don't think any part of Scootie was designed for off-road use... Haha!

I'm gonna inspect it real close when I get the new gears. If the bearings are worn, I have spare gear cases to pop on it without even having to remove bearings.
