I'm getting some grease residue on my clutch face and shoes. I could tell my clutch was slipping so i took it apart. Cleaned the tq driver up and regreased it with some Lucas hd bearing lube that is supposed to be very sling resistant. Cleaned the clutch parts up with brake cleaner and sanding. I have a nice smooth feeling clutch again..for a few days or around 100 Miles. When I inspect it it looks like the grease I put in the tq driver is still there or at least very close to it.
So what's going on?

Bad seals on the ends.

You talking about the bearings? Or the o-ring seals on the tq driver? Sounds like I need a new clutch assembly then?

Yeah, the o ring seals. Those TD's don't need a lot of grease and maybe you're using too much?

Thanks. I didn't feel like those had much seal to them. They felt pretty sloppy so it is all making sense. Bet I can find some new o-rings Thanks again
