My Yiben with the 139 QMB is now bogging off idle, hardly any power, it's got a Keinin carb, and only 800 miles. it was fine earlier, then coming home it would barely move at a stop sign, suggestions on where to start? it only had 100 miles on it when I got it, and it's had non corn gas all but those 100 miles

I would take a peek in the carb bowl and make sure it is clear and clean. it is possible that debris in the bowl is floating around and blocking off the main jet.
I would also take a look at the diaphragm on the carb slide and make sure it is not cracked or has a hole in it. If it does it will not rise and as a result you will not get any power.

is anyone familiar with the Keihin carbs on these? what is the armored cable going down and clamping nest to the variator cover? I'm trying to take this carb off as a last resort, I will check for debris, but it's always had an inline filter, and the filter is clean, I buy my gas from one place, and they are very picky about their quality, This always seems like a torque issue, normally I can climb the little hill into my yard with no issue, just by giving it a little gas, but it refused to climb the hill and the engine would only run at low RPM, like it wasn't shifting. I already pulled the belt cover and the belt looks good, no black marks on the pulleys etc. I've heard the weights in these variators are really cheap stock and can disintegrate, causing this kind of issue. My variator removal tool isn't here yet, or I would check

Ok I just drove it ten miles, no issues, of course it's cooler now, I wonder if this could be a CDI or coil issue, both are known for heat issues with the cheap ones. I had driven it ten miles earlier home from work, in the heat. The CDI location on this one also seems to make it prone to water splash, heat issues, as it's mounted open to the elements, on the bottom of the bike, I have noticed before that you could be wide open, bike is running great, slow down to take a turn, and no throttle response or little response when you accelerate
