I have spark, and tried 3 different carbs. checked timing and valves. It's like it almost there and once I let go of the start button nothing. But couldn't get any closed to starting. My friend had same thing happen to him and could not figure it out? What is it???

Compression is the other common cause of no starts not listed.
Sometimes if they aren't in a great state of tune, you have to find just the right way to get them fired up. Maybe it likes no throttle, maybe just a little, maybe it's real rich and needs to be WOT to start? If it just takes fiddling with the throttle, you may want to let it warm up once started and adjust the idle mixture and speed settings to see if that improves the situation next time.

Mine was doing the same thing the other day, very hard to start. After about 8 to 10 tries it would finally start. It was running great before it started doing it. I checked everything I could think of and it had spark, fuel , air , no intake leaks. For 3 days I messed with it. I adjust valves, checked compression. Then 1 days I finally got to start and drove about 2 miles down the road , it was running good then just quit. Checked it out on side of road and had no spark. I always carry extra cdi box so I put that in it and have had no problem with it starting up anymore. So I'm assuming the cdi box was the cause.
